Everything you need to know about NOUETO,
how it works and what to expect.
-
NOUETO is a shared wallet for couples. You each keep your own bank account, add what you choose to one shared wallet, and spend together using a shared virtual card.
Behind the shared balance, NOUETO keeps each person’s contributions and spending position clear.
-
NOUETO is designed for couples who share everyday expenses but want to keep their individual finances independent.
Whether you split things equally or contribute differently, NOUETO gives you one place for the money you share without requiring you to combine everything.
-
You decide together how much to add and how you want to split the contribution. Once you both agree, each of you can add your share from your own bank account.
The money goes into your shared NOUETO balance, ready to spend together using your NOUETO virtual card.
-
You choose how spending from your shared wallet is attributed between you.
For example, with a 60/40 split, a €100 purchase takes €100 from the shared wallet. In the background, NOUETO attributes €60 to one person and €40 to the other.
There’s still only one payment from one shared balance.
-
No. You decide together how much each of you will contribute to a top-up.
You might contribute €500 each, or split a €1,000 top-up €600/€400. NOUETO lets you choose the contribution that works for both of you.
-
Yes. You can choose the spending split that works for you and change it when your circumstances change.
Your contributions to the wallet and your chosen spending split are separate: how much you add doesn’t have to determine how spending is attributed.
-
It’s designed for the things you share: groceries, household expenses, subscriptions, dinners, weekends away, travel and everyday spending together.
Purchases made from the shared wallet appear automatically for both of you.
-
No. NOUETO is built around keeping your individual financial lives separate.
Your shared NOUETO wallet is for the money you choose to bring into your shared life. Your personal bank account remains separate.
-
No. NOUETO is a shared wallet, not a traditional joint bank account.
You keep your existing personal bank accounts and add money to a shared balance for the things you do together. You can then spend from that balance using your NOUETO card.
-
Expense-splitting apps typically help you work out who owes what after someone has paid.
With NOUETO, you add money to one shared wallet and spend directly from it. Purchases appear automatically for both of you, while NOUETO keeps each person’s position clear in the background.
No adding expenses afterwards. No settling every purchase between you.
